Front triangle moc-up
Griz’s front triangle is all mocked up and looks like it will represent! Tube fit is the key to a low stress, fine built frame. Next I will make sure all of the lug points are snug to the tubes and tack the tubes in the jig in a specific order and align. I actually tack and one tube at a time, check alignment, and then fully braze outside of the jig. Stress Bad!!!
I am really into lugged Mountain Bikes! Tomorrow I will be brazing up a joint that uses a phaux lug and fillet brazed construction to allow for a lugged look but no limitation to the lug degree. This means any geometry I want!
